Last week, the trustee board of St. John鈥檚 School and College held its last board meeting before the charity merges with national charity .
St. John鈥檚 was established 137 years ago in 1886 by Sister Jane Borradaile and so the meeting marked the end of an era and the start of an exciting new phase in the charity鈥檚 history. St. John鈥檚 CEO Simon Charleton, who is retiring at the end of August says;

We look forward to working together to create better opportunities and life outcomes for autistic children and young people.
Angela Tempany is the new Executive Headteacher at St. John鈥檚 and will be overseeing the care, therapy and education provision at the college.
